Heraldik

Die Heraldik is an introduction to the art and science of Heraldry. Learn the rules of tincture, see how to combine elements to create your own display, view examples from the past and present, and learn how to “read” and describe a Coat of Arms.

Die Heraldik consists of a Slide Presentation, Teacher’s Notes and Handouts. After students have learned about Coats of Arms they will have the opportunity to create their own, following the basic rules of Heraldry. Then they can explain their choices to fellow students.

The movie below gives just a glimpse of the some of the slides in the presentation. The actual slide presentation has over 80 slides of text and graphics.
